The Zeiss OPMI CS Surgical Microscope is ideal for spinal surgeries. The N31 stand has more flexibility than other stands like the NC-1 or NC-2. The CS NC31 comes with two independent zooms and internal focusing systems. This way the surgeon operating and the assistant can both view the operating area at the same time. Each surgeon can use a hand or foot switch to focus the image as well as engage with high magnification for detailed observation or a low magnification for an overall view. The Zeiss OPMI CS has the standard face-to-face optics with a powerful Xenon light source.
