The Defibtech DDU-100 Lifeline is a semi-automatic external defibrillator (AED). The Defibtech DDU-100 is a very simple straightforward AED. The Defibrillator system offers voice prompts and visual indicators to make it easy to operate. The Defibtech AED has two user controls, on/off and Shock. The Shock button is only enabled when a shockable rhythm is detected. The System can deliver 150 joules of energy to an adult patient when a shock is required, and 50 joules of energy to child and infant patients. The Defibtech DDU-100 Lifeline AED runs off a replaceable, non-rechargeable lithium battery.
