The Conmed Buffalo Filter PlumeSafe Turbo surgical smoke generator system with Auto-Sense technology is intended to evacuate and filter surgical smoke plumes and aerosols created by the interface of surgical tools with tissue-like lasers, electrosurgical systems, and ultrasonic devices. The PlumeSafe Turbo was designed with a high suction and high flow rate centrifugal action pump. The ultra-quiet motor is used to draw the surgical smoke from the surgical site through the vacuum tubing and into the ViroSafe filter.
